Gracie Barra Perth is one of the biggest and best BJJ clubs in Western Australia, having taken out 3 consecutive state championships since 2005, in both the adults and children’s divisions. Head instructor, Grayson West, has studied the art for over a decade. He has travelled to the United States as well as Brazil, to learn from such greats as Marcello Rezende, Gustavo Machado, Royce Gracie, Royler Gracie, Rillion Gracie, Rigan Machado, John Machado, and Carlos Gracie Jr. Grayson has an impressive personal record (see above link), taking out gold medals in both wrestling and submission wrestling events as well as taking out first place in both the Pan Pacific Jiu-Jitsu championships and the International Masters and Seniors Championships.
This world champion has developed a thriving Jiu-Jitsu club, which not only succeeds in providing a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in which to learn Jiu-Jitsu, but which also produces outstanding competitors in mixed martial arts as well as in gi and no-gi Jiujitsu. The classes are run in the true spirit of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, with a relaxed atmosphere and with higher ranks always willing to help out the newer students. Your first class is always free, so why not come down and give it a go?
