Well the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu comp held on the weekend was a blast. The atmosphere was great and it was also great to catch up with people and friends I had not seen for quite some time. The comp was well organized and ran smoothly. Would just like to send out a big thanks to all those who put the comp on and to all those who gave up their time to help with the reffing, score keeping and the the girls who got our drinks and food, Thanks.  To  all those who competed we say well done. You guys and gals fought like champions and   you all did your clubs proud. Vid coming soon   Brett Spagnolo was awarded his purple belt by BJJ Black belt Marcelo Rezende after defeating his opponent at the  Fight Night event on Saturday the 11th of August 2007 with a cutting armbar in 1min 45 secs. Brett with his training partners & his coach and world BJJ champion on the right Grayson West.   The Marcelo Rezende Seminar was a blast. Marcelo made time to roll with all who wanted to roll with him. I would have to say, It was one of the most enjoyable seminars I have been too. Marcelo awarded 3 blue belts at the seminar. Well done to these guys, They put in the hard yards and it paid off.   Would Like to send out a big congrats to Justin Boylan for taking out 1st place in the world masters in Brazil.
