Gym Use:
The academy provides supervised gym use in a fully equipped
free weights and machine gym. We also provide sessions
assisting the correct use of equipment and the
identification of appropriate exercises for specific goals.
Designed to supplement martial arts training, body
sculpting, weight loss and strength development.
Per hour use available.
Circuit
Use:
The academy provides a 15-station
cardio fitness circuit with a variety of machines as well as
rope and lightweight workouts. Designed for those only
interested in weight loss, general fitness or sports
conditioning and not wishing to take up a martial
discipline. Train solo or join the X-Lean & Fit fitness
classes. Per hour use
available.
Personal Training
programmes:
Taken as a supplement to your martial training or as a
stand-alone programme to reach personal goals such as body
toning, weight loss, muscle gain, cardio-fitness. A fully e.
X-Lean & Fit/Boot Camp:
Special fitness classes incorporating a mix
of cardio, isometric, plyometric, boxing, kickboxing and
light weights drills to develop overall natural strength and
fitness. A great way to get into and stay, in shape! Both
Boot Camp and Hips & Thighs classes are offered. A weights
based programme is also offered subject to demand.

Women’s Self Defence workshops-
An all ages, all shapes and sizes look at common and
practical self-defence situations from the women's
perspective. The course addresses bag snatches, muggings,
attempted rape and domestic violence.

An increasingly popular method for improving flexibility and
overall health and well being through stretching and
breathing exercises. Promotes relaxation and focus.
Meditation is taught in conjunction with the yoga.
Pilates:
Develop core strength, flexibility, improved posture and
lean, strong muscle with this increasingly popular exercise
method.
X-Lean Hips & Thighs:
A new programme specifically targeting those problem areas
women find soooo annoying.

Sakurakan
Judo:
A modern Olympic sport with it’s origins in Japanese
Jujitsu. Jigaro Kano took his knowledge of Tenshinyo Ryo &
Kito Ryu Jujitsu and applied “modern” principles to them to
formulate a less dangerous, competitive art that could be
taught through out the Japanese school system, this art Kano
Judo was the precursor of modern Olympic Judo, an art
heavily focussed on dramatic and effective throwing
techniques, as well as a competitive grappling element. Judo
can be enjoyed by people of all ages utilising as it does
sound biomechanical principles of unbalancing and leverage.
